The handoff

Today I left the Miesch family for good. I stayed with them for more than a month!
Thanks for everything Mark, Sarah, Jeremy and Nick. It has been good to know you, I’ll never forget you. All the best and I hope you keep following me on the blog.

Sarah (on the right) handed me over to Joan Burkpile (on the left). Later on, I will travel with Joan, also a solar physicist, to Whistler, British Columbia (Canada) where we will attend another scientific meeting. The plan then is that David Alexander, another solar physicist, will take me from Whistler to Houston, Texas.

It looks like I am definitively adopted by this international network of solar physicists.
Nice people, they always look on the sunny side of life.
