Bless me, Lord Ganesha

Listen Folks, I read about Ganesha, the famous Indian deity. This is what I learned: "Ganesha is usually shown in sculpture accompanied by or riding a rat. Since rats are seen as being capable of gnawing their way through most things, the rat symbolizes Ganesha's ability to destroy every obstacle. " Oh my god, I coudn't never carry an elephant on my back! But I do hope this Ganesha Figure is going to be on my side during my journey. Should I say a little prayer? It's only a couple of days before I leave my hometown...

Hi Woody Rat!

I love your blog! Thank you for sharing your adventures with the world!

I don't think anyone would expect you to have an elephant on your back (Hope not!!), but you could accompany him. I think that being a symbol of destroying obstacles is a great thing!

Keep up the great entries!
